I went to the Church for a lock-in at 5pm Friday afternoon. When everyone arrived we went swimming! I messed up on a cannonball an hurt my knee. But didn't realize it till Sunday lol. They had a feast prepared for us: burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings chilli and cheese, with cokes and cookies. Very tastey, there's nothing like a cookout and swimming! Then we went back to the church around 9pm Then we did the welcome games for the 4 kids being promoted into the youth group. 1st we took the 4 new kids and duck tapped them to the wall of the gym.....LOL.
Then we removed the chairs from beneath their feet to see how long they could hang without falling...lol. My group's girl had to come down 2nd cause she had to go to the bathroom..lol. Then the last 2 up wouldn't give up so we started to cut the tape one piece at a time till one fell then they gathered the loosing teams into a cluster..( I was one of those lol ) and the winning team disappeared into the gym for a few minutes..I had seen bags of cans hidden earlier and suspected what was coming up. Then I heard a noise of running feet and pulled my shirt up over my head and closed it up tight and avoided getting silly string in my hair hehe sneaky me. Then we all picked the stuff off of each other.
After that we played another game were 2 ppl were seated facing each other one had a squirt gun the other had a topic...they had to talk about that topic nonstop for 30 seconds or get blasted with the gun every time they stopped or paused for too long...lol. My topic was basketball lol and no offense to anyone but I hate basketball...so I ended up not getting squirted hehe.After that we had free time from 10 to 12. Three other girls and me played Monopoly.
After that we played Sardines which is a hide and seek type game. You wear dark cloths and turn all the lights in the building out. Then one person goes and hides. Then everyone else goes to find them when you find the person you hide with them! So everyone is eventually all packed in together like sardines! The last person to find them is it in the next game and they go hide. It's alot of fun we played that from 12 to 3am. Then we had a contest to see who could make the most creative ice cream sundae. They were all very yummy... all 10 of them lol. 20 kids divided into pairs can make some yummy sundaes lol.
After that I was really tired and went to bed. That was about 5am. Some of the kids stayed up all night. I woke up at 8am missing the group breakfast. I helped clean up then gathered my things and headed home. I stopped at a yard sale my mom and her friend were having. Lou Lou, my mom's friend let me pick from her earring table as many earrings as I wanted for free! I got some really cool looking ones, some silly ones, and some pretty ones lol. Well after that I went home and took a nap and relaxed the rest of the day. Well I think that's enough for right now. *hugs and muahs* byes
