I've been asked a few times how I can be pro-life and pro-choice at the same time, so I will try to explain.
I think that abortion is morally wrong and i think any anyone who refers to a fetus as an unviable tissue mass is morally bankrupt.
At the same time, I also believe that the government does not have the right to tell any citizen what they can or cannot do with thier own body, be it prostitution, drugs, or abortion. As soon as we give government that right, it is only a matter of time before they are able to force us to do things to our body that we do not want done. Things like forced aborton, forced sterilization, etc.
We have to be careful about what we ask for because we very well may get it. There are no winners in this, only losers.
