I have no real idea how to describe today because it was a whole lot of pleasant nothingness. I talked to family while sitting on the front porch. I talked to family while sitting on the back patio. I talked to family while sitting in the garden. I suppose today was just a day for talking.
With the talking done for the day, I'm listening to the silence of my small country town and the only thing I hear other than the gentle whir of my laptop fan is the sound of a lone cricket that is just starting its own day of talking.
