It's now 1pm in Dayton, Tennessee and I am out in my backyard laying on a blanket with my laptop, a book to read, and my cell phone. And of course a large container of water because it is very hot and humid at 88 degrees. Theres a nice wind that blows occasionaly that cools me off and blows the dried, dead leaves from the little rain we've had to the ground around me. They are mostly yellow and brown from lack of water. But the sound the leaves make rustleing is very relaxing and nice to hear cause soon they will be all gone and I won't hear this sound again until somtime in the middle of March.
Today in Sunday school a girl shared with us about her 2 month stay in Kenya, Africa over the summer on a mission trip. She went alone and stayed with an elderly missionary couple there. She had a good time getting to know the people there specialy the kids her own age. She told us about the Giraffe and Baby elephant rehabilitaion centers she visited where they care for orphaned or sick animals and return them to the wild. She got to feed and have her picture taken with the Giraffes they were very cute pictures. Right now I'm listening to my music on low so I can still hear the wind rustleing the leavs and making moving shadows acrros the patch of grass where I am camped out.
Next Sunday is the church homecoming feast I told you about, then the college class are going to fall creek falls for the day. I invited my friend Megan to go with me. I duno if she will go or not since it's a church outing though. I'm hopping we can do the hike with the class and maybe ride some horses. I'm hopeing to do a lot of photography of the waterfalls, rivers, and of the hike of any neat plants or animals I see. Also pictures of the group doing various activities. I'm really looking forward to it.
Normally I wear 22/24 in pants but today I wore some capris to church that are only 22s no 24 involved I haven't been able to wear them for like 2 or 3 years or more cause they were to tight and to hard to zip up. But I was able to wear them comfortably today and it really felt good to be in them again knowing I lost weight and can wear them now. Well thats all for now I guess I might add more later.
