Hey Everyone,
Sorry I didn't update yesterday but I didn't get in untill alomst 11 and I was very tired, but to make up for it this is gona be a juicy one full of lil tidbits lol.
Monday: I didn't have to be at camp till 2:30 beacause it was the started day of teen week and the campers wouldn't arrive till 3. So I drove up to my freind Crystal's house so show her my new car and to give her a present that I got for her. I stayed at her house from....2 to 2:30 just talking and having a good time. I even took her and her little brother chase for a spin in my car. They both loved it and said it was very cute. They both seemed to like my hair cut too.
Well I went to the camp and just sat around watching everyone swim and stuff cause I didn't war my baithing suit do to wanting to give my skin another day of rest from the sun poisioning. I attended chapel at the camp and the speaker was really amazing, he was only in his like early or late 20's, but he was a true man of God. I ate a delicious dinner at camp of spagettti, cold slaw, garlic bread,apple sauce, and for dessert yellow cake covered in chocolate iceing. It was fantastic and very filling. After that I had free time while the campers played get to know each other games, and planned what they wanted to do for the week like when they wanted to swim,hike, cannoe, or crafts etc.
Then when it got dark outside we grabbed flashlights and did a small hike up to the fire circle and had a bonfire and we sang songs the counselors did skits. And I got to see 2 of my favorite skits Wicken John (winks at melody) and how Andy and Elvira got thier log cabin manshion because of a good deed they did to a headless man(thinks melody will remember that one). Then we all watched as the crazziest man in camp a.k.a Steve Huneycut beat the embers in the fire to cause fire works while we all da,da,da'd to a patriotic song that I can never remember the name of, but if I think of it I'll let ya know lol.
As the empers died and went out we packed up and hiked back down to the camp. I got into my ford and drove home. I got home fixed a lil soup to heat my limbs and then went to bed.
And then today I had the pool to myself for most of the day the girls were out cannoeing and the boys came and swam for and hour and a half. The girls swam for a little while, when they got back. When I got to the pool first thing I did was unlock the gates and set out the different pool toys and goggles and things. Then I was checking the skimmers for trapped frogs that were still alive and surrrprisingly enough the first one I checked not only held a frog but a small guarder snake it was a very pretty snake, but didnt' know what kind of snake it was at first or if it was poisionus so I put the cover back over the hole and then pulled 2 frogs out of the other skimmer.
When the boys marched up for their 1 o'clock swim I had the boy counselors get the snake out and let it out in the woods. And of course they had their fun chidding me say it was a harmless guarder snake, but I hadn't know that when I found it and wasn't willing to reach my hand in there to fish it out lol. The rest of the day went without surprises.
I got to come home at 4 instead of 5 today do to none of the teens wanting swim lessions today. I got home and took a nice shower and put lots of lotion on because my arms were stinging a bit and I dind't want the sun poisioining to come back especialy this soon. Then I got a phone call from mom saying she'd be home soon and that she was gona cook us some hamburgers...(sorry for eating your relatives again mooo). Well my burgers are now done and I'm starving so that's all for today *hugs and muahs* Byesss
