Amber's Abode

Yay!

Good news!  I got an assisted living apartment in Gresham, the suburb that I like better because it's closer to my friends and everything else.  The apartment is really nice and so are the people.  It's called Chestnut Lane.  It was made originally only for deaf and deaf blind people but they opened it up to everybody.  I'm going to have to brush up on my sign language, but I will be okay.  I'm very happy, though sad to leave my current awesome caregivers.  But as we had no choice, I'm glad the situation is going to be more ideal for me.

I only have to wait that long because that's when people can help me move.  My dad and stepmom are going to come up.

Any donations in my little tip jar will be used for housewarming things like new speakers and maybe a small chair for other people to sit in.  The space is much larger than I'm used to, and I will have complete privacy which is nice, so home speakers would be good to supplement my headphones which tether me to the computer all the time.  I'm already down to close to the bottom of money for the month, because there was a very unexpected bill.  I'm caught up now, so don't worry, but any housewarming gifts would be appreciated and I will tell you exactly what I got.

I'm so excited.  I will take pictures as soon as I can.  And I will be able to play poker and do karaoke again whenever I want.  :-)

Hooray!
